How to use AI for coding in VS Code with Melpen Labz
In VS Code, the simplest way to use the Melpen Labz API is the free Kilo Code extension, which accepts any OpenAI-compatible provider.

The API key is generated in the dashboard after you choose a plan.
1. Install the Kilo Code extension
Open Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X), search for Kilo Code and install it. Or from the terminal:

Open the Kilo Code panel in the sidebar and click the gear icon (Settings). Under API Provider, choose OpenAI Compatible.
3. Fill in Base URL, key and model
Use the values from the box above and save. The model list loads automatically.
